How to get there?

From Hraklio follow the route to “Agios Nikolaos-Ierapetra - Makri Gialos”.

From Sitia follow the route to Sitia – Ierapetra.

For your transportation you can use the urban buses, which perform regular routes from Sitia to Ierapetra through Makri Gialos and back. Flights are being performed everyday from Athens to Hrakleio (128 km distance from Makris Gialos). Also, at the Sitia airport flights are being performed.

In addition you can use the sea lines of Crete, either through Hrakleio (Minoan Lines – ANEK) or through Siteia (ANEK LINES).
